WELCOME TO MY WORLD
I wouldn’t want to know what Freud would think of this, but my life has been about the home. I will spare you my soul’s journey for now and focus on the professional one. My first job as a freelance journalist was at the street magazine, Aluma in Malmö. After a short period of time I got the oppertunity to be the chief editor. My world got a complete new set of experiences that would change my heart forever. The place we call home has since got a new meaning to me.
My next job was to be part of a team who started a new magazine for the Union of Tenants, Hem & Hyra. Now my focus was about people who rented their homes. For 16 years, the everyday drama of tenants has been my main focus.
As a side project I started the webbshop, Art Posters by Gry Ellebjerg selling posters of banana hearts, king oyster mushrooms and rose apples. It was not enough for me to write about homes. I also wanted to decorate them.
Now I am ready to take the next step as a writer, photographer and film maker.

SHORT FILM: DORIS (2021)
DORIS (2021): Regardless of address, city and country Doris has insisted on her freedom. Every day she has guarded the streets she has lived on and taken her place amongst the humans. On a daily basis, people call and wonder if she is lost but she is just living her life. DORIS was shown at the cinema Kino, Folkets Bio in Lund at the Short-film Day, in December 2021. The film is published on Gry Ellebjergs youtube channel and on social media. Sadly Doris passed away in september 2022.
SHORT FILM: TOMTEN BOR I EKEBY (2021)
SANKTA CLAUS LIVES IN EKEBY
This is a short film about Klas Pålsson. One day he got tired of shaving. After a year he had grown a long white beard and hair. People started to call him Sankta Claus. Since then he has started to act tha part and show up at diffrent Christmas markets in Skåne. He loves to make people of all ages connect with the spirit of Christmas.

LIFE AFTER THE SYRINGE
This is a short film about how life had changed for the 70 plus after they got the vaccine. I met three of the participants in “Voices from the isolation” and this is their take on the situation. The film was published on Hem & Hyras webbmagazine aswell as the cover story of the paper magazine in the autumn of 2021.

He is an old sailor, but the illness was the worst experience of his life.

“ANNA” (2021) is a short filmreportage about a tenant who paid her landlord with sexual favors to avoid being evicted. He used her vulnerable situation for his own benefits. The story was published on Hem & Hyras website. It was made by reporter Rikard Ljungkvist. Gry Ellebjerg did the filming and took the still photographs.

All of texts has been published in

During 2015 and 2016 I worked as a Image editor for traveling books Turen går til…(The Trips goes to…) published by Politiken Forlag in Denmark. I was selecting all the pictures in the books and decided where to put them on the pages. It was also my responsibility to choose the cover photo.
Together with Abba-Björn Ulveus, Eva Dahlgren, Susanna Alakoski and 93 others I participated in the anthology Jag är här, I am Here, 2018, with the text Resan till Banana Flower Spaceship, The journey to Banana Flower Spaceship, Sweden. #IAmHere, is a social movement that uses counder-speech to counterhate speech and misinformation on social media, mainly Facebook.
